Rainy Day

Today was a rainy day. In the morning, the sky was gray and the clouds were dense. I could feel the rain coming, and soon it started to pour down. The raindrops hit the window with a "pitter-patter" sound, and the wind blew gently, making the leaves rustle.

I stayed at home because it was too wet to go out. I watched the rain from the window and saw the flowers and trees swaying in the wind. The rain continued for a while, and then it slowed down. After the rain, the air felt cooler and fresher.

In the afternoon, I heard the sound of thunder and saw the lightning flash across the sky. It was a bit scary, but also kind of exciting. I stayed inside and listened to the rain and the thunder until it finally stopped.

When the rain ended, I went outside to look at the world. The ground was wet, and everything felt fresh and clean. The flowers and trees looked like they had been washed and were shining in the sunlight.

I think rain is important. It helps plants grow and clean the air. Even though it can be annoying sometimes, I still enjoy listening to the sound of rain and watching the raindrops fall.
